Job Summary
Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) - South Bend, WA. This night-shift position supports laboratory operations in a critical access healthcare setting. The technologist works independently across Blood Bank, Microbiology, instrument troubleshooting, and scheduled equipment maintenance.
Job Details
- Schedule: Friday through Sunday nights; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
- Additional Information:
- Work independently across all laboratory areas, including Blood Bank and Microbiology.
- Perform Microbiology setups and Gram stains.
- Troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly instrument maintenance.
- Operate and support chemistry, immunoassay, hematology, coagulation, sedimentation, molecular, infectious disease, and blood culture testing systems.
- Use manual gel testing methods for Blood Bank procedures.
