Referral program

Send a colleague the right job. Earn when they start.

Good nurses know good nurses, and the same goes for aides, techs and therapists. Send someone a job on CareJobs. Now that fits them, with your own referral link, and earn the amount the job shows once they are hired and start work. Post or write for people in care? The same link works for your audience.

  • Per hire

a job shows what one person you send earns you

  • 400 days

    that each link keeps counting

  • Any job

can carry your code in its link

How it works

Three steps

  1. Get your link

Make a free account and your referral link, carejobs.now/c/k7f2q9, works straight away. The code is drawn for you, six characters that are yours alone.

  2. Send a job to someone who fits

Your referral page picks out open jobs your colleagues would fit and sends any of them from your own phone or email in one tap. Every job on the site also has a Share button that adds your link.

  3. Earn when they start

When someone you sent is hired and starts work, you earn the amount the job showed. Payouts go out monthly by PayPal or Wise.

Your earnings

How they are worked out

Pay follows real hires: each person you send who is hired and starts work earns you that job's amount, and visits, clicks or sign-ups earn nothing on their own.

The jobs on your referral page show what you earn for one person you send to each. Only partners that pay us for the people we send carry an amount (staffing agencies and shift apps marked Partner, and the programs we work with): most hospitals, health systems and clinics pay nothing for an applicant, so their jobs show none and earn nothing. Each referral is confirmed with the partner before it is paid.

Someone who opens your link and, within 400 days, presses Apply through us at an employer or program for the first time, signed in to a free account (or creating one straight after). They count once for each employer or program they apply to that way. Your own account never counts, nor does someone that employer or program already had through us. When a person opens someone else's referral link before applying, the newest link counts, and a credit once made never moves to anyone else.

An example with a round number
A job shows potential earnings of
$100
You send it to a colleague, who applies
Through your link
They are hired and start work: you earn
$100
Someone who applies and is never hired
$0

It shows how the rule works; it is not a figure we expect or promise.

The terms

Short and plain

Your link
carejobs.now/c/k7f2q9, with your own code, or any page of CareJobs. Now with ?ref= and your code added (for example carejobs.now/roles/nurses?ref=k7f2q9). The Share button on every job makes that link for you.
Who counts
Someone who opens your link and, within 400 days, presses Apply through us at an employer or program for the first time, signed in to a free account (or creating one straight after). They count once for each employer or program they apply to that way. Your own account never counts, nor does someone that employer or program already had through us. When a person opens someone else's referral link before applying, the newest link counts, and a credit once made never moves to anyone else.
What you earn
The jobs on your referral page show what you earn for one person you send to each. Only partners that pay us for the people we send carry an amount (staffing agencies and shift apps marked Partner, and the programs we work with): most hospitals, health systems and clinics pay nothing for an applicant, so their jobs show none and earn nothing. Each referral is confirmed with the partner before it is paid. Pay follows real hires: each person you send who is hired and starts work earns you that job's amount, and visits, clicks or sign-ups earn nothing on their own.
When you are paid
Every month, by PayPal or Wise, whatever you are owed. A partner confirms a hire some weeks after the person starts, so each referral is paid as it is confirmed.
What you can see
In your account: your link, the jobs your colleagues would fit, how many people applied through your link at each employer or partner, how many of them were hired and started, and what you have earned, been paid and are owed.
Cost
Joining is free.
Fair play
Paying or rewarding anyone to open your link or press Apply, or sending made-up visits or accounts, ends your place in the program.
No income promises
What you earn depends on how many of the people you send are hired and start work. The amounts shown are what each job pays for a referral today, and jobs change. We promise no amount.

Paid every month, whatever you are owed.

Questions

What people ask us

Who can join?

Anyone with a free account: a nurse, aide, tech or therapist who knows people who would fit a job, someone who posts or writes for people who work in care, or an organization that reaches them (a nursing association, a school, a union local, a newsletter or a community group). There is no fee and nothing to apply for.

Can an association or a school join?

Yes. An organization joins with one free account and gets one link for all its channels: a benefits page, a newsletter, or our jobs widget on its own site set to one occupation. It earns the amount each job shows for every person it sends who is hired and starts work, paid monthly. Nothing for clicks or sign-ups, no minimum and no exclusivity.

Which jobs can earn me something?

Only jobs whose partner pays us for the people we send: the staffing agencies and shift apps marked Partner, and the programs we work with. Your referral page shows what each of those would pay you. Most hospitals, health systems and clinics pay nothing for an applicant, so sending someone to their jobs helps your colleague but earns you nothing.

Do I have to make content?

No. Most people in the program send a job to a friend or a coworker who would fit it. People with an audience use the same link and the same rule.

Can I send one particular job?

Yes. Your referral page sends any job listed on it, and every job on the site has a Share button. Whoever opens your link lands on that job, and everything they apply to through us for 400 days counts for you.

Why only for people who are hired and start work?

Pay follows real hires: each person you send who is hired and starts work earns you that job's amount, and visits, clicks or sign-ups earn nothing on their own. Visits, clicks and sign-ups cost nothing to fake; a hire does not. So you earn from the people you send who take the job, and nobody is paid out of fees someone else earned.

Why do the people I send need an account?

It is how we know who you sent. A partner's referral list names the person it hired, and their account with us records the link they came through. Anyone who applies through us is asked to save their applications in a free account, and an apply made just before signing up still counts.

Do you contact the people I send?

No. You send your link yourself, to people you know. We never write to anyone because you named them.

How is my code kept unique?

It is drawn at random from about 887 million possible codes, and the database refuses a code that is taken and draws again. No code ever belongs to two people.

When do I get paid?

Every month, by PayPal or Wise, whatever you are owed. A partner confirms a hire some weeks after the person starts, so each referral is paid as it is confirmed.

How much can I earn?

What you earn depends on how many of the people you send are hired and start work. The amounts shown are what each job pays for a referral today, and jobs change. We promise no amount.

Do I have to say it is a referral link?

Yes. Tell the people you send it to that it is your referral link, and tell an audience that the link can earn you a commission. The FTC and most social platforms require that for paid links.
