Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor - Sioux City, Iowa. This travel assignment supports interdisciplinary patient care through the application of professional and clinical knowledge. The role includes night shifts, collaboration across the care team, and potential rotation across campuses within the same discipline.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
- Epic experience
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) certification is preferred, with American Red Cross (ARC) or United States military certificates also accepted
- Iowa state license
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Heparin drip experience
- Additional Information:
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- The role may include floating across campuses within the same discipline.
- Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
- Work is required on two of the following three holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day.
- One day-off request is permitted between 11/25/2026–11/29/2026 and 12/23/2026–12/27/2026.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
- Orientation dates are 11/23/2026, 12/07/2026, and 12/21/2026.
- The assignment is scheduled from 12/07/2026 through 03/08/2027.
