10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the CVOR will provide comprehensive patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will be responsible for monitoring surgical patients, assisting surgeons in the operating room, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. Familiarity with Allscripts for charting is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-op and post-op assessments on patients.
• Assist with cardiovascular surgeries as part of the surgical team.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document patient care and progress using Allscripts system.

Required Experience

Experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
