Job Description

The Licensed Respiratory Therapist will provide essential cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor. The position may include advanced patient care responsibilities as directed by leadership. Experience with the Epic charting system is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
• Monitor patient status and response to therapy.
• Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Document care and patient responses in the Epic system.

Required Experience

Must be a Licensed Respiratory Therapist with experience in a hospital setting, preferably familiar with Epic.

Certifications/Licensure

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist, registered with the board for respiratory care.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC.
• BLS certification (AHA).
