Schedule/Shift

Staff works a 3-2-2 schedule with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including every other weekend and holidays.

Job Description

As a Registered Vascular Technologist in our busy ultrasound department, you will perform various imaging studies, including general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound for both upper and lower venous and arterial assessments. You will assist in procedures, operate Siemens S2000 equipment, and collaborate with medical staff to provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound imaging studies.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Start IVs for contrast administration when required.
• Document findings accurately in the EMR system (Cerner).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of ultrasound rooms and equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff.

Required Experience

• Experience with OB and arterial extremity doppler ultrasound.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Experience working as a first-time traveler is accepted.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ARDMS and/or RVT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Must possess a valid West Virginia license and WV CARES certification prior to the start date.
