About the Medical Records Director Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Records Director to oversee the entire medical records department. As a Medical Records Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and analyzing medical records , ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to medical records management
- Coordinating with healthcare teams , including medical staff, nurses, and administration to ensure seamless communication and care coordination
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion regarding resident medical information
- Providing education and training to staff on medical records management and HIPAA regulations
Medical Records Director Requirements
- Prior experience in medical records management or a related field
