Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will
- Provide direct nursing care to residents
- Assess and monitor resident conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Identify and communicate changes in resident condition
- Complete nursing documentation accurately and timely
- Follow and help implement individualized resident care plans
- Supervise and support nursing staff as assigned
- Work closely with LPNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as assigned
- Maintain resident safety, dignity, and comfort
- Communicate professionally with residents and family members
- Follow facility policies and applicable nursing standards
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality, resident-centered care
RN Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, nursing home, rehabilitation, long-term care, healthcare, or senior care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills
- Compassion for elderly and geriatric residents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable attendance and dependability
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality resident care
- Ability to work assigned shifts and required weekend rotations
