Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing both STAT and routine testing on blood and other body fluids in a collaborative laboratory environment. You will support testing for a facility that manages 396 beds and a rehabilitation hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care through accurate and timely laboratory results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and STAT testing on blood and other body fluids.
• Ensure quality control and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory organization and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team members and escalate issues when necessary.

Required Experience

• Candidates must be able to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
• Experience troubleshooting laboratory instruments.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must have ASCP or AMT certification.
