Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will support both the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Team, scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as well as electrophysiology and device implants. The role demands solid technical skills and experience in both areas to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Scrub for electrophysiology procedures and device implants.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure the best patient care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used during procedures.
• Document patient care and procedural details in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cath Lab and Electrophysiology.
• Electrophysiology and structural heart experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• RCES, RCIS, or ARRT (RT) with VI or CI certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) are mandatory.
• Current flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted.
