Job Summary
Westfield Quality Care of Aurora is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Transportation Aide to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Full-time employee, you will play a vital role in our transportation team, ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of residents to various facilities and appointments. Responsibilities
- Assist with transporting residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents during transportation
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
- Assist with wheelchair and stretcher transfers
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and resident vital signs
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in orientation and training programs to ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements
- Current CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
