Job Summary
The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Transportation Aide to assist our residents with transportation to medical appointments and other outings. This role is essential to ensuring that our residents receive safe, comfortable, and timely transportation while maintaining their dignity and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Accompany residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other required destinations.
- Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Ensure that all transportation-related needs of the residents are met, including coordination with family members, nursing staff, and medical personnel.
- Maintain and update transportation records, including appointment schedules and transportation logs.
- Provide emotional support to residents during trips and foster a positive experience.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management, ensuring that the residents' well-being and comfort are prioritized.
Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.
- Ability to lift, assist, and support residents in a respectful and caring manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
