About the job
The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Pawling is seeking RN Supervisors
Position can be Full-Time, Part-Time or Per Diem
Option 1: Full-Time 4:00pm to 12:00am
Option 2: Part-Time 4:00pm to 12:00pm
Option 3: Part-Time 12:00pm to 8:00am
Option 4: Per Diem for these shifts and weekend days 8am-4pm
About the Role
As an RN Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day-to-day and long-term planning of patient care. You’ll manage nursing staff, collaborate with physicians, and provide both physical and emotional support to residents and their families. This is a leadership role with career growth potential .
You Will
- Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet patient care needs
- Foster a compassionate environment through emotional and psychological support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by implementing procedures and protocols
- Ensure compliance with infection control and medication administration policies
- Audit documentation and ensure confidentiality of patient records
- Oversee medical equipment and coordinate maintenance
- Build strong relationships with healthcare teams and participate in problem-solving
Requirements
- Current NYS RN License (BSN preferred but not required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care or medical/surgical settings
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
