As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with Right at Home Morgantown, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and professional care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a franchisee of Right at Home, a leading home care franchise system, we are committed to providing exceptional care and assistance to seniors and vulnerable adults in our community.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship
- Help clients with mobility and transfer assistance
- Assist with medication reminders and administration
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of client care
- Collaborate with other caregivers and medical professionals to ensure seamless care
- Embody our company slogan, "In Home Care and Assistance," by prioritizing client dignity, respect, and independence
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in personal care, home health care, or a related field an asset
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and transfer clients safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic person who is passionate about providing care and making a difference in people's lives
