As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion to our patients.
About the Role
As a CNA at Mosholu Parkway Nursing & Rehabilitation Center , you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care under the supervision of our experienced nursing staff
- Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing staff, and implementing care plans as needed
- Building strong relationships with patients and families, providing emotional support and compassion
Responsibilities
- Perform vital sign checks, including pulse, BP, respiration rate, and temperature
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide basic nursing care, such as changing linens and cleaning wounds
- Assist with mealtime, including feeding and hydration
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of New York
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous CNA experience preferred, but not required
