Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate STNA (State-Tested Nursing Assistant) to join our Dayshift team at Meadowbrook Care Center. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their overall well-being, and supporting the health care team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including:
Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing basic care and hygiene, including vital signs and wound care
- Assisting with medication administration and treatments
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
- Collaborate with the health care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of resident care and services
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
- Must be a State-Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certified in the state of Ohio
- 0 years of experience in the healthcare industry (new graduates welcome to apply!)
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with care and precision
