Job Summary
Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RT (Respiratory Therapist) to join our brand-new Vent Unit. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients, while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are looking for a skilled Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is interested in working in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate mechanical ventilators and related equipment
- Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol medications as prescribed
- Monitor patient response and vital signs
- Assist with breathing exercises and recovery plans
- Ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
- Document therapy and patient progress in charts
- Collaborate with physicians and care team members
- Train staff and contribute to best practices in respiratory care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Active State of Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Experience in vent care or long-term care preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
