About the job
Position Summary The PRN PTA delivers skilled physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT, helping residents meet the goals set in their plan of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the PT: therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, transfers, and modalities
- Monitor resident response and progress; report changes to the supervising PT
- Document daily treatment notes accurately and on time per Medicare and payer requirements
- Train residents, families, and nursing staff on safe mobility and transfer techniques
- Maintain a clean, safe gym and equipment
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania PTA certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- SNF or sub-acute experience preferred
