Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Transportation Aide (CNA) to join our team at Evercare of Granite City. As a Transportation Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our residents. Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments, activities, and within the facility
- Assist with wheelchair and walker usage as needed
- Provide companionship and support to residents during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of transportation routes and resident status
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure resident care needs are met
- Participate in facility-wide initiatives to improve resident experience and overall care
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with resident transfers as needed
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
