- Position Opening – Adult Day Health Nurse
Location: 699 South Carter Road, Smyrna, DE 19977
Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore is seeking a Nurse who is a friendly, organized, self-starter to join our Adult Day Health program in New Castle! Easterseals Adult Day Health day program serves individuals with disabilities, and those requiring memory care support. In this role, you will manage medical needs of participants, provide training to staff and participants, and participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong written & verbal communication skills and uphold a commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- Valid and current licensure in Delaware and LPN
- Degree in nursing and/or 2-years’ experience working with adults with disabilities
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Proficient use of technology such as Microsoft programs
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25-pounds freely, without restrictions
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- This is a full-time, 40-hour/week opportunity Monday-Friday, day time hours. The salary range for this position is based on experience. To apply, send resume and cover letter to Alex Older at AOlder@esdel.org
