Job Summary
Pre Op Registered Nurse (RN) – Tracy, CA. This role involves providing holistic and individualized care to patients in the outpatient surgery setting, ensuring safety and comfort before procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work within a busy acute care hospital environment, supporting patient transitions and fostering collaborative interdisciplinary relationships.
Job Details
- Location: Tracy, CA
- Position Description: Performs routine assignments and develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area. Develops, implements, and manages an interdisciplinary plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their support system, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.
- Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, 3 years of experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be completed prior to start), Ambulatory surgery or phase II experience within the past 2 years, EPIC experience, and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidate must complete required certifications prior to the start date. Submission of accurate work history back 7 years and all compliance documentation is required within 10 days of the start date. Orientation includes non-billable modules recorded through e-learning.
