Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical With Telemetry. This position provides nursing care for adult patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including stroke, spinal surgery, intracranial hemorrhage, seizure disorders, and other conditions affecting the brain or spinal column. The role is scheduled for night shifts and supports an acute care environment.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical, telemetry, or acute care experience; experience caring for patients with neurological conditions.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel assignment experience; experience with EPIC.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/16/2026–02/06/2027.
- Additional Information: Provides care for adult patients with spinal surgery, intracranial hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, seizure disorders, and other neurological or neurosurgical conditions. Every other weekend and holidays may be required based on unit needs. Call availability includes two 12-hour shifts per six-week schedule. Orientations are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month; the December 2026 orientation is scheduled for 12/14/2026.
