We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team at Avir at Park in Wichita Falls, TX. As a CNA at Avir, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, providing top-notch care and support while working closely with our dedicated healthcare team.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more
- Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed
- Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs
- Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation
- Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed
- Provide catheter care as required
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
About Our Ideal Candidate
- Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
- Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff
- Comfort working with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, or at times upset
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and safely assist with resident transfers
