Job Summary
Avir at Park, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team in Wichita Falls, TX. As a vital member of our nursing leadership, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and clinical expertise to our nursing department. Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment that promotes excellent patient care and satisfaction
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and other departmental leaders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
- Conduct performance assessments, provide coaching and mentoring, and facilitate professional development for nursing staff
- Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of organizational objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (or higher)
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar leadership role, with a strong background in nursing administration
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
