Job Summary

Aspire Senior Living East Prairie is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility located in East Prairie, Missouri. As a PTA, you will work closely with our dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
• Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretching, and modalities, under the supervision of physical therapists
• Monitor and record resident progress, reporting any changes or concerns to physical therapists
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments and resident outcomes
• Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss resident care and develop a comprehensive care plan
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and achieve optimal resident outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Missouri state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
