Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Office Nurse (RN) will support primary care providers in delivering healthcare to patients. Responsibilities include preparing patient charts, assisting with examinations, administering injections, performing wound care, managing medical calls, and maintaining clinical areas. The RN will play a key role in patient education and ensure efficient patient flow within the office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts for the following day, understanding risk management and HMO referral systems.
• Prepare patients for examination as instructed.
• Document patient history in medical records as directed.
• Assist providers with various examinations and special procedures.
• Administer injections and wound care as delegated.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas.
• Manage medically related phone calls as directed.
• Complete all clinical forms as necessary.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinic experience.
• Wound care experience is required.
• Gastroenterology experience is highly preferred.
• Critical Access Hospital experience is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinic or medical office setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Current nursing license in New Hampshire is required.
