12-hour night shift, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36-48 (negotiable) and every other weekend required.
Job Description
This position is for a Nursing Supervisor in a teaching hospital with 111 beds, servicing the Tri-Cities area, which includes Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland. The facility offers a range of services including Emergency Department, Family Medicine, Orthopedic joint replacements, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Urgent Care. The patient population is mixed, including a busy Obstetrics department but no pediatrics. The nursing supervisor will be responsible for overseeing nursing administration without floating requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing administration within the facility.
- Ensure that nursing staff provides high-quality care in accordance with hospital policies.
- Coordinate with other departments for patient care and operational needs.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a nursing role.
Certifications/Licensure
Current ACLS certification required.
