Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with on-call hours required.

Job Description

Cath Lab Techs play a crucial role in assisting with catheterization procedures. You will work in a dynamic environment with a focus on cardiac procedures, including EP procedures, IABP, Impella, Temp Pacer management, and moderate sedation. The unit features advanced technology such as GE and MacLab equipment and utilizes Meditech for documentation. Position involves collaborating with RNs and RCIS professionals, as well as ensuring a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various catheterization procedures.
• Provide patient care during procedures, including monitoring and support.
• Collaborate with team members, including nurses and techs, for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in patient education related to procedures and recovery.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license or RCIS certification is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
