This position includes 8-hour shifts, rotating every other weekend from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

This opportunity is at a Level II trauma hospital with 440 beds. The facility employs a triad model with RN, SW, and CMA teams. The unit operates at a fast pace, handling high acuity cases, with an offsite Utilization Review (UR) team. Proficiency in Interqual for initial and CSR (discharge assessments) is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct initial assessments and discharge planning.
• Utilize Interqual criteria for managing patient reviews.

Required Experience

• 2-4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse Case Manager in an acute care facility.
• Current RN Florida/Compact license.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid RN license in Florida or Compact.
