What you'll do?

This is an excellent full-time opportunity to care for a dynamic member base and work with a wide array of conditions. As a member of the Eagle Vision Eye Care team, you'll work in a modern, dynamic, state-of-the-art practice in the Sacramento location. You'll provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and visual and medical conditions, educate patients about their ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products - a typical day consists of 22 patients. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, including Optos and fundus photography. Both locations are entirely cloud-based, supporting a paperless environment that enables electronic medical records and charting from anywhere - plus a highly trained staff to support you throughout examinations. The position is Monday through Friday and potentially select Saturdays.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home ( WFH )) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFH ), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment
