What You'll Do
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping residents maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.
Your responsibilities will include
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs and changes in resident condition
- Providing compassionate, respectful, person-centered care
- Promoting resident dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Communicating resident needs and observations to nursing staff
- Working collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care
- Following facility policies, infection control practices, and applicable safety standards
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality
