Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to our residents. Your expertise and compassion will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, as directed by the physical therapist
- Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and outcomes
- Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss patient care and progress
Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field preferred
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Florida
