CNA Training Class
Class starts mid-November 2026 (4-5 weeks long) Mon.-Fri 8am-4pm
$16 HR during the class and hourly rate will increase once you become certified
Job Summary
We are seeking qualified Resident Assistants (RAs) to join our team at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a CNA Training Class, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and skills in a long-term care setting while working towards becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Responsibilities and Duties
- Patient/Resident Advocate
- Assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) with ancillary care of the residents
- Providing comfort to residents/patients
- Infection prevention
- Interacting and engaging with residents/patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Passing score on a Reading comprehension test
- An eagerness to make a difference in your resident's lives
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
