In-Home Skilled Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and experienced In-Home Skilled Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Washtenaw, MI. The ideal candidate will deliver personalized healthcare services in patients' homes, ensuring comfort, safety, and effective treatment. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform wound care as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Document clinical information accurately and timely in patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in home health nursing or a related clinical setting preferred.
• Familiar with Kinnser
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Washtenaw County.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
