Job Description
Full-time faculty position practicing at the University Health - Truman Medical Center near downtown Kansas City. The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry sponsors the advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Position will have joint academic appointments at the UMKC Schools of Dentistry and Medicine. We are seeking a full-time faculty position, broad scope trained in OMS (i.e.: interests in TMJ, cosmetic, Orthognathic, dental implant, dentoalveolar and/or trauma surgery.) Both tenure and non-tenure positions are available. Major responsibilities include patient care, resident teaching and research opportunities. This position is both clinical and academic and candidates should have an interest in building and fostering a practice and conducting research.
Our department has an extremely busy clinic and operating room experience and provides call coverage at three Level I trauma centers.
Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified and a graduate of an American or Canadian ADA-accredited dental school.

Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with background.
