About the Role
We’re seeking a warm, reliable Caregiver/Companion to provide support and companionship in a private home setting. This position focuses on overall wellbeing, engagement, and assistance with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship, friendship, and socialization
- Monitor overall wellbeing and encourage participation in activities
- Assist with correspondence and communication with family/friends
- Support with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and bed linens
- Handle shopping and errands as needed
Qualifications
- Prior caregiving or companion care experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Comfortable around pets (home has a senior dog)
