Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents
• Design and implement evidence-based interventions to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
• Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on OT techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident progress and treatment plans

Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field from an accredited institution
• Completion of an occupational therapy assistant program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• Current OTA certification in the state of Arkansas or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
• 0 years of experience preferred, but will consider candidates with limited experience
