Job Summary
The IMA Group is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Gainesville, FL. In this role, you'll support healthcare professionals in delivering top-tier medical assessments and evaluations. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and medical evaluations
- Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and medical histories
- Conduct routine clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and EKGs
- Maintain medical records and handle patient inquiries
- Organize and maintain medical equipment and supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant program completion preferred
- Prior healthcare experience; MA certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, interpersonal skills, and a compassionate, detail-oriented approach
