The role

This is the role residents see most.

It is also the role that most often notices first - a change in gait, a meal left untouched, a quieter morning than usual.

As a Care Partner, you provide compassionate, person-centered support to residents in our assisted living and supportive memory care communities. You help with the activities of daily living, partner with families and licensed nurses, and help create a community where the people who live here feel safe, respected, and at home.

You’ll also be part of dining service, serving meals and sharing the table with residents. And you don’t have to stay in one place: Milestone supports Care Partners in building skills and earning new credentials over time.

Your day, your impact

What you’ll do

Care with dignity

Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and more, always offering choice and honoring each person’s routine.

Memory care support

Support residents living with dementia using calm tone, predictable routines, validation, and redirection.

Notice what matters

Watch for changes in health, mood, or mobility and share them with the nurse right away.

Keep everyone safe

Use safe transfer techniques and equipment, and help prevent falls before they happen.

Make mealtimes social

Serve meals, encourage hydration, and turn the dining room into a place for connection.

Spark joy

Learn what lights each resident up and connect them with activities, friends, and routines they love.

What you bring

You’ll fit right in if you have

18 years of age or older

High school diploma or GED

One year of caregiving experience preferred; credentialed new team members with a strong service mindset are welcome

State-required certification for your community (HCA, CNA, Med Tech, CMA, or QMAP)

CPR/First Aid and Food Handler’s card where required

Ability to pass background checks and TB screening

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers using approved equipment

Genuine compassion for older adults, including those living with dementia
