Job Summary

At Seniors Helping Seniors Lanier, we understand the importance of providing compassionate and personalized care to our seniors. As an In-Home Companion, you will play a vital role in brightening the lives of our clients by offering a helping hand and a friendly smile. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team of senior caregivers, who will provide companionship, support, and shared experiences to our clients in their homes in Hartwell, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and companionship to seniors in their homes, engaging in activities such as conversation, games, and hobbies
• Assist with daily living tasks, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Help with medication reminders, errands, and other tasks as needed
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure a seamless care experience
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a caregiving role or related field (n/a)
• Ability to provide emotional support and companionship to seniors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in Hartwell, Georgia
