Non Medical Caregiver
Job Summary
Right at Home Torrance is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non-Medical Caregiver to join our team of caregivers who provide care to seniors and vulnerable adults in their home setting. As a Non-Medical Caregiver with Right at Home Torrance, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and assistance to clients in their homes, including companion care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services such as bathing and dressing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other household tasks
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
- Collaborate with clients, family members, and other caregivers to ensure seamless care
- Participate in paid training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements
- Home Care Aide (HCA) license issued by the CA Dept. of Social Services
- Recent TB test (within 90 days if newly licensed or within 2 years if working for another agency)
- Valid driver's license, car insurance
- 18 years or older
- Able to speak and read English
- Authorized to work in the US for any employer
- Must live in or near the South Bay area
