Job Summary
As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide personal care activities, companionship, and light housekeeping services to our clients in their own homes. This is a rewarding and challenging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, shaving, and grooming
- Perform housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the bathroom
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments
- Provide companionship and engage in activities such as reading, music, puzzles, and more
- Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises and dementia care
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
Qualifications and Skills
Home Care Aide Registered with DPSS
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- Pass a background check
- Recent TB within the last year (within 90 days if newly registered as HCA)
Must live in or near South Bay area
