Shift Type: Part-time and Full-Time (Day, Weekend, Evenings, Overnights available)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY

• You don’t mind getting a little dirty … this could include ( but is not limited to ) assisting the patient with activities of daily living such as providing assistance with personal hygiene ( toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair ), ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and other household chores.
• You don’t have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.

OUR BEST TEAM MEMBERS ARE

• High school degree or G.E.D. certificate
• Six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) course.
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Have a valid driver’s license and use an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
• The Home Health Aide shall have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the state licensing laws for home health agencies.
• Reliable transportation
• A current CPR certificate is recommended
