Home Caregiver (In Home Companion)
Job Summary
Right at Home Ann Arbor is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Caregiver (In Home Companion) to join our team in Ypsilanti, Michigan. As a Home Caregiver, you will provide essential care and companionship to seniors and vulnerable adults in their homes, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply for this part-time opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and playing games
- Assist with daily living activities, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Offer personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, if certified or trained
- Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any concerns or changes to the care team
- Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers
