Live-In Caregiver Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
- Communicate regularly with the office and care team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Florida CNA certification or 40-hour HHA training certificate
- Previous caregiving experience required; live-in experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a client's private residence
- Ability to provide professional references
- Availability for live-in assignments
Position Details
Location: Venice, FL 34285 and surrounding areas
Position Type: Live-In Caregiver (CNA/HHA)
Schedule: Live-in assignment based on client needs. Specific schedules, rest periods, and compensation will be discussed before placement.
