We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing leader to join our team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Infection Preventionist (IP) at Orchard Manor in Grove City, PA. As a dual role, you will provide strategic guidance to our nursing team, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead our infection prevention and control program. Your expertise will help us deliver top-quality care to our residents.

About the Role
As a seasoned nurse leader, you will be responsible for:
ADON Responsibilities
- Supporting and overseeing daily nursing operations across all shifts
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing nursing staff at all levels
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with PA DOH and CMS regulations
- Leading wound care and quality assurance (QA) initiatives
- Assisting with staffing, scheduling, and new employee onboarding
- Assisting with DON responsibilities as needed
- Driving survey readiness and supporting inspection preparedness
Infection Preventionist Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring the facility Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP)
- Tracking, trending, and reporting healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), outbreaks, and surveillance data to leadership
- Ensuring compliance with CMS infection control requirements (F880-F883)
- Educating staff on standard and transmission-based precautions
- Coordinating with the medical director and public health authorities on outbreak response
- Maintaining NHSN reporting as required by CMS
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
- 2+ years of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
- 1+ year in a nursing leadership or supervisory role
- Knowledge of PA DOH regulations, CMS guidelines, and MDS
Preferred
- BSN degree
- PointClickCare experience
- Prior state or federal survey experience
