Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Business Office Manager to join our team at Onyx Care of Natchitoches, a leading healthcare provider in Natchitoches, LA. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our business office, ensuring seamless communication, and providing exceptional support to our patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business office, overseeing daily operations, and coordinating tasks with other departments
• Supervise and train administrative staff, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service
• Process and manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, patient billing, and insurance claims
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative role; experience in a business office or medical records setting a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
