As a Speech Language Pathologist-Per Diem, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art facility. Our mission is to REBUILDING BODY, MIND & SPIRIT , and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional like you to help us achieve this goal.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in Speech Language Pathology evaluation, goal setting, treatment, and EMR documentation
- Chart appropriately and timely
- Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with facility staff members
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Provide dependable, regular per diem coverage
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology
- 1 year of experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred
- Possess a current, unencumbered, NYS license and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment

Our 39-acre rural campus in Mid-Hudson Valley features shops, a library, music studio, post office, cafe, clubhouse, lounge, art studio, hair salon, gym, and a park with walking/jogging path. We are committed to promoting re-acquisition of cognitive, physical, and social skills in a naturalistic setting.
