Position Overview

Majestic Care LPNs render skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing in support of medical care as directed by the nursing management team; supervises CNAs to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all residents in that unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an LPN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.

Important Eligibility Information

Nurses should act quickly to take advantage of the programs initial eligibility period.

Nurses who begin employment at an eligible nursing home between July 28, 2026, and October 25, 2026 , may be eligible to apply during the program's first 90 days ( October 26, 2026, through January 24, 2027 ) under a special eligibility exception.

Beginning January 25, 2027 , applicants will only be eligible if they have not worked at a nursing home or state agency for at least 60 days prior to creating an application account and beginning the application process.
