What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate nursing care, treatments and medications to residents
- Monitor residents' health and communicate changes to physicians and nursing leadership
- Complete assessments, documentation and required reports
- Provide emergency care and respond to residents' changing needs
- Supervise and support nursing staff as assigned
- Work collaboratively with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Current Virginia nursing license appropriate to the position
- Strong clinical knowledge and nursing skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to elderly and disabled residents
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow nursing policies and procedures
- Ability to work in an active healthcare environment and meet the physical demands of the position
